Job description
Quantum Sky is searching for a full-time Systems Administrator to join our growing Information Technology team in a hybrid capacity in our Plano, TX office. . This individual will design intuitive and user-centric experiences and information structures for a range of internal projects. As with all positions, we are seeking independent thinkers with creative problem-solving skills., * Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for users both onsite and remotely.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets using our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- User account management (for example, account creation, assigning permissions, or password resets)
- Provide training and support for end-users on various technologies and software.
- Collaborate with IT team members on system upgrades, installations, and other projects.
- Document procedures and create knowledge base articles to enhance the support process.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve support practices.
- Ability to work well with in a team environment
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
Required:
- US Citizen, No Sponsorship
- Experience with GCC High Azure
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- CompTIA A+ Certified highly desired
- Basic understanding of scripting and automation.
- Troubleshooting and technical support experience.
- Customer service, listening and teamwork
- Empathy and being able to relate to the end-user.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to work in a high paced environment.
- Strong time management skills and can work independently.
- Remote troubleshooting methodologies.
Benefits & conditions
- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $70,000-$80,000.
