Experteer Overview In this Senior Salesforce Engineering Consultant role, you will own and shape a mature Salesforce environment focused on Service Cloud and Sales Cloud. You will bridge hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring developers and guiding architecture and best practices. You’ll work across cross-functional teams, drive integration and CI/CD pipelines, and explore Salesforce Einstein/AI capabilities. This is an enterprise-scale position offering autonomy, impact on technical direction, and growth into senior leadership. Lake Forest, IL offers hybrid work 2x a week with a strong emphasis on delivering scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Analyze, design, and implement enterprise Salesforce solutions across Service and Sales Cloud * Partner with internal developers to evaluate, design, and deliver new business capabilities * Integrate Salesforce with other cloud platforms and apply best practices in data modeling, interface design, and testing * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using SalesforceDX * Guide the development and support team through critical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience * 4+ years of implementation experience spanning the full software development lifecycle * OO languages such as Java or C#, plus front-end web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) * Hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and a proven track record of Salesforce development * Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling, interface design, and testing best practices * Familiarity with API development (SOAP, REST, or microservices) * Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments * Understanding of CI/CD principles as applied to Salesforce code check-in through deployment * Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate with external vendors and Salesforce partners * Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching other developers Key requirements * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Vacation Time * Stock Options * Bonus eligible
