Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Test Center Administrator to join our team in Wilmington, North Carolina. In this long-term part - time contract position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our testing facilities and creating a secure, detail-focused environment for candidates. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a high level of customer service while adhering to strict policies and procedures., * Welcome candidates to the test center and verify their identification to ensure compliance with security protocols.

  • Conduct thorough security checks, including the use of wands, to maintain a secure testing environment.
  • Continuously monitor examinees during their exams to safeguard integrity and provide assistance as needed.
  • Address and resolve candidate concerns promptly while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Maintain a secure and organized environment, ensuring the protection of all testing materials.
  • Deliver a fair and comfortable testing experience for all candidates by following company policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents or irregularities observed during testing sessions.
  • Represent the organization’s mission and values while upholding high standards of attention to detail.
  • Digitally capture and record candidate fingerprint identification when applicable.
  • Adapt to flexible scheduling based on operational requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; college experience is an advantage.
  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience in roles such as retail, call center, or restaurant settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and team members.
  • Proficiency in using Windows-based applications, including Office programs and web browsers.
  • Ability to write clear and accurate reports and correspondence.
  • Physical capability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
  • Capacity to remain stationary for extended periods while monitoring exams and perform regular walkthroughs of the testing room.
  • Visual acuity to adjust computer screens and monitor testing rooms through camera systems.
