IT Technician

• Provide day-to-day technical support to users across the business
• Act as the first point of contact for internal IT queries and issues
• Manage and maintain our network infrastructure and hardware
• Maintain and administer our Microsoft 365 environment
• Monitor the performance, reliability and security of our IT systems
• Identify technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Recommend improvements to our existing systems, processes and infrastructure
• Support the ongoing development and improvement of our internal IT systems
• Oversee and contribute to the continued development of our CRM
• Work closely with senior management on IT requirements and future projects
• Provide IT support across our three Cheshire offices, with some travel between locations required

Our experienced team provides competitive solutions, outstanding service and reliable ongoing support to hundreds of SMEs across the UK. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Internal IT Specialist to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a varied, hands-on role with the opportunity to take ownership of internal IT within a growing business and help improve our systems as we continue to develop. We offer a salary up to £32,000 depending on experience, Monday to Friday hours from 8:45am to 5:15pm, and 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

• Experience supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, routing and switching
• Experience with IT security and firewalls/filtering
• Experience with Windows Server environments
• Experience with Microsoft 365
• Experience with Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with virtualisation
• Experience with storage and backup solutions
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• Experience with VoIP and SIP technologies
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
