SAP SCM EWM Consultant

Minimum years of experience required: 10 years Certification needed: NA Must Have Skills: SAP EWM, Program Leadership & Transformation

• Lead SAP EWM workstream within large-scale S/4HANA transformation programs (Greenfield/Brownfield/Hybrid)

• Define and govern the global EWM template, processes, and standards

• Drive business process harmonization across regions and business units

• Provide strategic direction for warehouse digital transformation and automation

Solution Architecture & Design

• Own end-to-end EWM solution architecture (Embedded / Decentralized) in S/4HANA

• Lead fit-gap analysis, design workshops, and blueprinting sessions with global stakeholders

• Design scalable and optimized solutions across:

o Inbound, outbound, and internal logistics

o Warehouse structure & layout design

o Wave management & labor optimization

o Handling Unit (HU) management & packaging

o Advanced picking, slotting, and replenishment strategies

• Define integration architecture with:

o MM, SD, PP, TM, and Yard Logistics

Global Template & Rollouts

• Lead multi-country rollouts ensuring template adherence with minimal customization

• Manage localization requirements including regulatory and regional business needs

• Oversee cutover strategy, deployment planning, and hypercare execution

• Ensure consistency and scalability across deployments

Integration & Data Strategy

• Define and oversee integrations with:

o SAP modules (MM, SD, TM, PP)

o External systems (WMS, MES, automation systems)

• Lead data migration and master data governance strategy

• Provide direction on interfaces, APIs, and middleware architecture

Testing, Quality & Risk Management

• Govern testing strategy:

o SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing

• Ensure quality standards, solution stability, and compliance

• Identify and mitigate program risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor functional consultants and offshore teams

• Act as primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT leadership

• Drive executive-level discussions and decision-making

• Manage vendors, partners, and third-party system integrators

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Drive adoption of:

o Warehouse automation (ASRS, robotics, IoT)

o Advanced analytics & Fiori applications

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction

• Promote best practices and SAP standard adoption

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead SAP EWM Consultant with 10+ years of SAP Supply Chain experience to drive global S/4HANA transformation initiatives. This role requires strong leadership in solution architecture, global template governance, and end-to-end warehouse transformation across multi-country deployments., Experience

• 10+ years of SAP SCM experience, with at least 6+ years in SAP EWM

• Proven track record in leading S/4HANA transformation programs

• Strong experience in global template design and multi-country rollouts

• Experience managing large distributed teams and stakeholders

Functional & Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in SAP EWM (Embedded & Decentralized)

• Strong knowledge of:

o Inbound/outbound processes

o RF & mobile technologies

o HU management, wave management, labor mgmt.

• Integration knowledge with MM, SD, TM, PP

• Understanding of warehouse automation and digital supply chain solutions

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Strong program leadership and delivery ownership

• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills

• Ability to influence cross-functional and global stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
