Job description

  • Provide technical and functional support for Oracle Cerner applications within healthcare environments.
  • Support AMS operations following ITIL and SCRUM methodologies.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and change management activities.
  • Handle P1/P2 production incidents and lead root cause analysis activities.
  • Monitor SLA/SLO compliance and support operational reporting activities.
  • Drive incident trend reduction and knowledge deflection initiatives.
  • Provide on-call and after-hours support coverage as required.
  • Support resolution of incidents and service requests including RITM management.
  • Prepare and present RCA reports and problem management documentation.
  • Maintain knowledge management documentation and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare operations, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure system stability and service continuity.
  • Support security, access management, audits, and compliance-related activities.

Core Functional Domains:

  • Registration / ADT.
  • Charge Services / Patient Accounting.
  • Clinical modules including FirstNet, CareAware, and Nursing.
  • Ancillary systems including PathNet, RadNet, and Pharmacy dependency-level support.
  • Core Security including access management, roles, and audits.

Requirements

  • Experience providing AMS support for large healthcare environments required.
  • Strong experience with SLA and KPI-based service delivery required.
  • Hands-on experience with ITIL v3/v4 operations and SCRUM-based delivery required.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Cerner modules required.
  • Experience managing incidents, problems, changes, and service requests required.
  • Experience handling P1/P2 incidents and RCA ownership required.
  • Knowledge of healthcare security, access management, and compliance processes required.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills required., * Experience in delivery roles supporting large U.S. healthcare organizations preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare compliance and audit processes preferred.
  • Knowledge of operational governance and service improvement initiatives preferred.

Qualification and Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • ITIL certification preferred.
  • Relevant Oracle Cerner certifications preferred.
