SAP HCM Consultant

• Provide professional and technical support for SAP Human Capital Management (HCM).
• Analyse HR requirements and advise internal stakeholders on processes and SAP-based solutions.
• Support, customise and further develop SAP HCM within an SAP ECC environment.
• Contribute to key SAP and IT projects, including the transition towards S/4HANA HCM, the expansion of Fiori-based ESS/MSS solutions and the digitalisation of HR processes.
• Support the strategic development of modern SAP HXM and employee experience solutions.
• Provide expertise across SAP HCM modules including PA, OM, PT and PY.
• Work closely with HR, data protection, employee representatives and other internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate external SAP service providers, testing activities and transport management.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, including troubleshooting and sustainable problem resolution.
• Create and maintain structured documentation in line with IT governance, compliance and data protection requirements.

• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience and relevant SAP HCM expertise.
• Several years of experience as an SAP HCM Consultant or SAP Inhouse Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of at least one SAP HCM module, such as PA, PY, PT or OM.
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging, SAP interfaces and ideally S/4HANA HCM architecture.
• Understanding of modern SAP HXM solutions, including ESS/MSS, SAP Fiori and user-focused HR applications.
• Experience with HR processes, time management, payroll or complex employment and collective agreement requirements would be advantageous.
• Structured and solution-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent German language skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
