Design Engineer in Durham

As a Design Engineer, you will work closely with the Design Manager and Projects team to produce detailed drawings and layouts for customer projects., This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a growing engineering business where you will have genuine input into the development of the design function. You will work on a varied range of projects rather than repetitive design work, gaining exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, electrical systems, customer requirements and site-based engineering.

This is a varied opportunity for a Design Engineer, CAD Engineer or Draughtsperson with strong AutoCAD skills who is looking to develop their experience across detailed engineering design, 3D modelling and BIM. Full Product training is available, however, We are interested in hearing from Design Engineers, CAD Designers, CAD Engineers, Design Draughtspersons and Engineering Draughtspersons with a strong background in 2D CAD., * The ability to read and understand engineering drawings \n

• The ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines \n

• Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise with customers and contractors \n

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider engineering team \n

Experience with Revit, Autodesk Docs or Inventor would be advantageous but is not essential., n Full product training will be provided, making this a particularly good opportunity for someone with strong CAD experience who wants to broaden their engineering design skills.
