Job description
The SAP Senior EWM Consultant will lead the IT workstream for a new warehouse implementation supporting a large equipment manufacturing environment. This individual will drive coordination across business, operations, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure successful deployment of warehouse technologies and processes. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables while overseeing SAP EWM implementation activities and integrations with automation solutions such as AMRs, VLMs, conveyor systems, and WES/WCS platforms. The consultant will facilitate stakeholder communications, provide project status updates to leadership, coordinate functional and technical teams, and ensure all technology components are successfully enabled and aligned with business requirements for warehouse operations.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

Experience leading IT workstreams for warehouse, logistics, or automation implementations
-
Managed at least two IT projects focused on warehouse enablement, logistics operations, or automation initiatives

Experience integrating SAP EWM with Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) and/or Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)

Knowledge of warehouse automation technologies including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs), and conveyor systems

Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and financial tracking

Ability to lead cross-functional teams of technical and functional resources
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Plusses

Experience supporting greenfield warehouse or new facility implementations

Background within manufacturing or equipment manufacturing environments

Understanding of network infrastructure and connectivity requirements for new building deployments

PMP, SAP, or related project management certifications

Experience working with both internal business teams and third-party vendors/integrators
Benefits & conditions
$35/hr to $100/hr
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
