Systems Engineer

Breaks down requirements and develops test cases for system capabilities. Manually tests the system and records results in test log tool. Creates anomaly reports for issues found during testing. Works with software counterparts to write and troubleshoot Anomaly Reports. Develops failure mode testing for assigned capabilities. Supports automation team in developing automated tests or helps automate tests. Integrates and tests software-intensive systems in Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) System Integration lab. Uses tracking tools including JIRA, GitLab, and GitHub for issue tracking and test management. Uses Eggplant, Cucumber, or Python for test automation and scripting. Works with Omniview and Mission Planning concepts of operations for test and integration planning.

Active Secret Security Clearance required to start. Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). 10+ years of experience integrating and testing software-intensive systems in Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) System Integration lab. 5+ years of experience with one or more tracking tools including JIRA, GitLab, or GitHub. 5+ years of experience with Eggplant, Cucumber, or Python for test automation. 5+ years of experience with Omniview and Mission Planning concepts of operations. Ability to develop and communicate long-term hardware integration strategies. Experience breaking down requirements and developing test cases for system capabilities. Experience manually testing systems and recording results in test log tools. Experience creating anomaly reports for issues found in testing. Experience developing failure mode testing for assigned capabilities., Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
