Job description
This position supports physicians, clinicians, managers, and other healthcare workers by providing embedded, customized, customer-oriented continuous clinical information systems support in a specialty service line. This individual will partner with service line clinical administrative leadership to identify opportunities for workflow improvement to design and deliver individualized, small group, and large group efficiency solutions. Serves as a liaison between clinic leadership, executive administration, and IT to promote optimal system and workflow functionality., 1. Liaison and On Boarding- Facilitates information systems and operational on-boarding for new users and providers. Coordinates and actively participates in analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical informatics for providers, clinical support, and clinic management. Represents the input and concerns of users at entity and health informatics improvement groups. Maintains positive relationships and participates in regular rounding through dedicated coverage zones to promote user participation in improvement efforts.
- End-Use Educator- Demonstrates in depth knowledge of health information system capabilities, applications, and operational workflows to develop training and support methodologies in order to operate effectively as an educator for end-users.
- Workflow Improvement- Monitors and analyzes physician and clinician efficiencies by utilizing and integrating data. Collates and presents information to clinic leadership to facilitate informed and effective decision-making. Coordinates with nurse educators, population health, the Department of Healthcare Engineering, and other departments to develop protocols, policies, procedures, and performance indicators to facilitate alignment with state and federal regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline. Licensure/Certification Requirements:

No licensure is required Professional Experience Requirements:
- If a Bachelor’s Degree, four (4) years’ of experience as a professional health care clinician with team facilitation, process improvement or data analysis experience OR process improvement professional with experience in a health care environment.

If a Master’s Degree: two (2) years’ of experience as a professional health care clinician with team facilitation, process improvement or data analysis experience OR process improvement professional with experience in a health care environment. Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills *Highly motivated to work with and respond to the needs of internal customers. *Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. *Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
