IT Technician Required - Secondary School - Birmingham

You will provide technical support to staff and students, maintain hardware and software, and help ensure technology is available and functioning effectively across the school. Responsibilities * Providing first-line and second-line IT support to staff and students * Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues * Setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting desktops, laptops and other devices * Supporting classroom technology including interactive displays and audiovisual equipment * Managing user accounts, passwords and permissions * Assisting with network maintenance and system updates * Installing and configuring software applications * Maintaining asset registers and IT equipment inventories * Supporting the implementation of new technologies across the school The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience in an IT support or IT Technician role * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving
