Senior Production Support Engineer (Java/Golang)

UST is searching for a Senior Production Support Engineer (Java/Golang) who will provide L2/L3 production support for Java and Golang-based applications.

The opportunity:

• Monitor application health, performance, and availability 24/7

• Investigate and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures

• Troubleshoot application, middleware, database, and infrastructure issues

• Analyze logs and metrics using monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch)

• Support production releases, deployments, and change management activities

• Coordinate with Development, QA, Infrastructure, SRE, and Business teams during incidents

• Participate in on-call support rotation and major incident management

• Automate repetitive support activities using scripting and tools

• Drive production defect resolution and cross-team action plans to closure

• Ensure compliance with operational and security standards

• Maintain production leadership and end-to-end operational ownership

• Handle ServiceNow/Jira tickets and track SLAs and KPIs

• Coordinate major incident response and stakeholder communication

• Document incidents, solutions, and lessons learned

• Continuously improve monitoring, ing, and automation capabilities

UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below., Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
