Job description

Work hands-on on large-scale, business-critical systems
Join a cross-functional Scrum team alongside Product Managers, UX Designers, Test Analysts and fellow Engineers
Take ownership of features from initial idea through to production
Mentor other Developers and share knowledge
Help raise engineering standards across the team
Challenge existing approaches and contribute ideas
Influence technical direction and how the team works

Requirements

Strong commercial Java development experience
Experience delivering complex features end-to-end
Commitment to clean, maintainable and well-tested code
Experience with, or genuine interest in, TDD and XP practices
Enjoyment of pairing, mentoring and sharing knowledge with other Engineers
Comfort contributing to technical discussions and challenging existing approaches
Experience working within collaborative Agile engineering teams
Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to pick up new technologies
Experience with cloud-native or serverless architectures is a bonus
AWS experience is a bonus
Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code is a bonus
Experience building scalable, secure platforms is a bonus
