Job description

As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering workforce and financial analysis that supports policy development, workforce planning and operational decision-making.#, * Building and maintaining complex workforce and financial models in Excel.

  • Analysing large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Producing cost modelling and impact assessments for proposed business initiatives and workforce changes.
  • Developing scenario planning and forecasting models to support strategic decisions.
  • Translating business and policy questions into analytical specifications.
  • Creating reports, dashboards and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Providing evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting stakeholder discussions through clear, objective analysis.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across analytics, policy and operational teams.

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling, Pivot Tables, formulas, charts and VBA/macros.
  • Strong analytical experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Demonstrable experience building and improving financial, operational or workforce models.
  • The ability to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related STEM subject.

Desirable experience includes:

  • Python, R or SPSS.
  • Workforce analytics, people analytics or public sector analysis.
  • Exposure to workforce planning, reward, compensation or operational modelling.

London, Leeds (1 day per month in office) | £46,000 + Benefits Must be advanced in Excel No sponsorship offered

2 years minimum experience, * Salary of £46,000.
