AI Software Engineer

You’ll be a strong C#/.NET engineer who has moved beyond experimenting with AI and can demonstrate something you’ve genuinely delivered into production.

Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, RAG, Semantic Kernel, vector databases or Python-based AI tooling would be particularly valuable.

This isn’t an AI lab role or a stream of disposable prototypes. You’ll take ideas through to production, embedding useful AI capabilities into established software used by real customers.

You’ll have the backing of a large international technology group, but the freedom and visibility of a close-knit R&D team. Your work will directly influence the products, architecture and future AI roadmap.

What you’ll do

• Build AI-powered features within existing C#/.NET products
• Develop LLM solutions using RAG, agentic workflows and Azure AI
• Take ideas from proof-of-concept through to production
• Help shape technical decisions and the wider AI strategy
• Improve the performance, reliability and cost of live AI systems, * Up to £70,000 plus bonus
• Mostly remote, with around one visit per month to the Bristol office-although you’re welcome to work from the office more regularly if that suits you.
