Job description

• Optimize Logistics: Oversee and route import shipments, negotiating rates and transit times directly with overseas freight forwarders, ocean carriers, and domestic transport partners to ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Strategic Vendor Management: Evaluate vendor and carrier performance against established KPIs, address supply chain disruptions proactively, and foster long-term strategic partnerships.
• Data Analysis & Demand Planning: Analyze inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage ERP system data to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Compliance & Customs: Act as the primary point of contact for customs brokers to ensure full trade compliance, audit documentation, and swiftly resolve any clearance delays or tariff issues.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating closely with sales, finance, and operations to align supply chain strategies with overarching business goals and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, specifically within the consumer goods industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and hands-on experience managing data within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a proven track record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and present data clearly to management.
