Workshop Support Administrator

The role will involve: * Ordering parts for the workshop technicians * Checking incoming parts and deliveries * Ensuring the correct parts have been supplied * Keeping track of orders and parts using computer systems * Using Microsoft Excel on a regular basis * Helping technicians with parts-related queries * Keeping workshop administration organised * Working closely with the wider workshop team to keep everything running smoothly What We’re Looking For You don’t need to be an experienced parts professional or technician for this role. A basic knowledge of automotive parts would be beneficial, but the most important qualities are organisation, attention to detail and confidence using computers. We’re looking for someone who: * Is highly organised and methodical * Has good attention to detail * Is confident using Microsoft Excel and computers generally * Can manage multiple orders and tasks effectively * Is reliable and takes pride in their work * Communicates well with technicians and colleagues * Has a basic understanding of vehicle parts * Enjoys working as part of a busy workshop team What’s On Offer * £33,000-£35,000 salary * Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm * 20 days’ annual holiday + bank holidays * Permanent position with an independent workshop * Non-customer-facing role * Close working relationship with experienced technicians * A varied role where your organisation and attention to detail will make a real difference The Opportunity This is an ideal role for someone who is organised, computer confident and interested in the automotive industry.
