MP&P Technical Analyst 3

• Analyze failed parts and processes to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
• Generate and execute test plans; identify and categorize failures and document results and recommendations
• Evaluate parts, materials, processes, and equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with specifications
• Propose, develop, and validate revisions to procedures and technical specifications
• Determine suitability of parts, materials, and processes for production and application
• Coordinate resolution of technical issues with suppliers and customers
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through design, development, fabrication, testing, and implementation of new technologies
• Provide technical guidance and consultation to internal and external customers

• Typically requires an Associate degree with 3+ years of related experience
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered (e.g., Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of experience or 5+ years of related experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with failure analysis and root cause methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Comfortable using computers and standard software tools
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR)., Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
