Java Developer / Application Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer / Application Support Engineer with 6 8 years of experience to support and maintain enterprise applications in a production environment. The role involves application support, troubleshooting, system maintenance, batch monitoring, and collaboration with business and technical teams to ensure smooth operations and system stability. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison between business teams and external/vendor teams.
• Support and maintain enterprise applications in an on-premise environment.
• Install application updates, hot fixes, and system patches.
• Maintain and support custom-developed components and integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor and ensure successful completion of nightly batch jobs.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, operations, and integration teams to ensure smooth data flow across systems.
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, and operational improvements.

• 6 8 years of experience in application support, software development, or production support roles.
• Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux command line.
• Experience with Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Java and XML technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
• Exposure to banking or financial services domain is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with batch processing and operational support activities.
