Desktop Support Technician

• Repair and troubleshoot laptops and desktop computers.
• Replace hard drives, motherboards, keyboards, and other components.
• Perform whole-unit computer swaps when needed.
• Repair or replace PC peripherals.
• Travel throughout the metro and surrounding areas to complete service requests.
• Close service tickets in real time using the Unisys Call Management system and a company-provided phone.
• Provide professional and timely customer service while completing assigned repairs.

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid car insurance.
• Computer-building experience is preferred.
• General knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware and software.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic, non-complex technical issues.
• Must be able to travel within the assigned service area.
• Client and/or government clearance may be required.
• Police or criminal background verification may be required.
