Job description

We are seeking a Junior Frontend Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for an early-career developer passionate about building modern web applications and leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate software delivery., * Develop and maintain frontend applications using React, Angular, or Vue.js.

  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces and integrate REST APIs.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of frontend development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Claude Code and have successfully delivered one or more software projects using Claude Code as part of the development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React Native, Flutter, iOS, or Android development.
  • Exposure to AI/LLM applications, chatbots, or generative AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Portfolio, GitHub repository, or personal projects showcasing development experience.

Benefits & conditions

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$43,984 - $105,600

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
