Job description

  • Lead the hands-on creation, testing, and deployment of complex multi-step journeys, transactional triggers, and batch campaigns within Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
  • Implement real-time, event-driven journey triggers and align event tracking schemas to capture high-frequency touchpoints.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for daily AJO and RTCDP operational issues, diagnosing flow failures, payload errors, and data sync gaps.
  • Leverage Adobe Data Distiller and AEP Query Service to query data lakes, build derivative datasets, and perform advanced data analysis.
  • Support daily audience segmentation, profile merge policies, identity stitching, and data ingestion validation within RTCDP.
  • Build, update, and manage AJO Decision Management rules, fallback offers, and ranking strategies.
  • Execute hands-on data validation and quality checks, specifically reconciling data pipelines and movement from Snowflake to AEP.
  • Map journey event data into Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) to enable comprehensive attribution and behavioral reporting.
  • Configure global suppression logic, frequency capping, and cooldown rules to ensure brand compliance.
  • Configure and maintain custom actions, webhook integrations, and lightweight custom code extensions.
  • Consult with business stakeholders to identify and suggest use cases that maximize the ROI of the AJO toolkit.

  • Retail industry experience, particularly familiarity with high-frequency customer data, retail loyalty operations, and high-volume promotional schedules.

Requirements

  • Senior-level hands-on practitioner with extensive, daily operational experience implementing and supporting Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) modules.
  • Expert-level journey canvas design, message authoring (Email, Push, SMS), event configuration, and troubleshooting in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
  • Experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP (RTCDP) including profile management, audience segmentation, identity graphs, and data governance.
  • Experience with Adobe Data Distiller for querying data lakes, generating custom datasets, and running SQL queries.
  • Experience configuring personalized offers, rules, and decision scopes in Decision Management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Standard SQL, PL/SQL, and AEP Query Service.
  • Hands-on experience with cross-platform data validation and tracing data pipelines from Snowflake into AEP.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and schema structures (XDM Individual Profile and Experience Events).
  • Proficiency in building custom actions, API integrations, and webhooks for real-time campaign triggers.
  • Familiarity with JSON payloads, REST APIs, and event-driven data flows.
