ServiceNow Developer

• We ensure the ServiceNow platform is up to date by applying patches and performing version upgrades.
• We automate application logic using workflow, scheduled script executions, and inbound and outbound email.
• We create and manage workflows, including Flow Designer, to automate business processes.
• We design and maintain the Service Catalogue, including defining and configuring items, order guides, and workflows.
• We build and enhance UI components, including forms, lists, and UI pages.
• We write and maintain scripts for various ServiceNow components such as business rules, client scripts, and UI policies.
• We integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring data flows seamlessly.
• We develop and customize the ServiceNow Portal and ServiceNow applications in line with business needs.
• We secure applications and data against unauthorized access, employing best practices.
• We maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and processes.
• We provide guidance to users on the usage of ServiceNow in line with its design.
• We identify and resolve performance issues and optimize ServiceNow instances.
• We keep up to date with ServiceNow best practices and industry trends to ensure efficient and effective use of the platform.
• We develop and maintain ServiceNow applications that support Domain Separation.
• We develop reports and dashboards to provide data insights and monitoring capabilities.

• We require a bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• We require 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow Developer experience.
• We require a proven track record of improving processes and effectiveness through automation.
• We require a strong understanding of IT service management and the ITIL framework.
• We require strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
• We require the ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
• We require at least 2 of the following certifications: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Application Specialist (Performance Analytics), Implementation Specialist (Customer Service Management), Implementation Specialist (Service Mapping), Implementation Specialist (Discovery), or Implementation Specialist (IT Service Management).
