Job description
HealthCare Strategies is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with prior help desk or technical support experience who enjoys problem-solving and providing high-quality internal customer support. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for technical issues, assist with day-to-day IT support needs, and work proactively to resolve and document issues. There is potential for this position to transition to full-time in the future based on performance and business needs., * Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone and email
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for software applications, systems, and equipment
- Assist employees with login issues, system access, and general technology questions
- Document issues, resolutions, and escalation steps in the ticketing system
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to appropriate IT staff in a timely manner
- Coordinate with and manage third-party vendors as needed
- Follow established procedures to ensure timely and accurate support
- Communicate technical information in clear, simple, and non-technical terms to users with varying levels of computer literacy.
- Identify recurring issues and proactively suggest process or documentation improvements
Requirements
Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, * Previous experience in a help desk, IT support, or technical support role
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work independently
- Self starter who is proactive in identifying and resolving issues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Currently enrolled IT student, recent graduate, intern, or individual seeking a career change (preferred, not required)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Customer-service mindset with patience and professionalism
- Solid basic computer skills and comfort supporting common workplace technology
- Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes
