A defense technology organization is seeking a Digital Design Electrical Engineer to help develop next-generation software-defined radios and tactical communications systems. This is a direct hire, onsite opportunity located in Rochester, NY, in Upstate New York on Lake Ontario, about 60 miles from Niagara Falls. Relocation assistance is available, and US Citizenship is required. What you’ll do

• Lead the design and development of advanced digital hardware from concept through production
• Collaborate with experts in FPGA, DSP, RF, and embedded systems
• Perform integration with other subsystems including RF, FPGA, DSP, embedded firmware, and test equipment
• Provide timely and thorough responses to issues impacting continuous production and revenue generation in operations
• Apply problem-solving expertise while working both autonomously and collaboratively
• Gain exposure to high-speed digital interfaces, power-efficient designs, and mission-critical systems integration

• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, OR
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience, OR
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and with a team
