The HR and Business Support Administrator will provide comprehensive operational and administrative support to the HR consultancy team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of client services, supporting internal business operations, and maintaining high standards of client care.
This role would suit an experienced administrator who thrives in a busy consultancy environment and enjoys working across a broad range of HR, business support, systems, marketing, and client service activities.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Consultancy Support
Support the development, formatting, and updating of employee handbooks and HR documentation.
Prepare HR policies, procedures, templates, and client communications.
Support the administration of employee onboarding and induction processes for client organisations.
Assist with the preparation of documentation and resources for learning and development consultancy projects.
Administer occupational health referrals and maintain associated records and documentation.
Maintain training systems and update training records and logs.
Manage and maintain internal and client HR systems, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
Produce HR reports, and management information using Microsoft Excel and HR systems.
Support pre employment screening processes ensuring compliance and manage document control processes.
Client Support & Business Operations
Triage and manage incoming client calls and enquiries, ensuring prompt escalation where appropriate.
Coordinate and support the client care programme to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate client data management.
Assist with project coordination across multiple client accounts and consultancy activities.
Support consultants with diary coordination, administration, and document preparation.
Marketing & Communications
Support social media management and scheduling of content across business platforms.
Assist with the preparation and distribution of marketing materials and newsletters.
Design and format professional client-facing documents and presentations using Canva and other design tools.
Support branding consistency across all documentation and communications.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Social media management?, We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR and Business Support Administrator to join our team. This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring exceptional administration skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously., Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience within HR, consultancy, professional services, or training environments.
Proven experience in a busy administrative or business support role or small team environment where the ability to be ‘hands-on’ with tasks is required
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create reports, spreadsheets, and analyse data confidently.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Experience using Canva and/or other design and content creation tools.
Confident using CRM systems and cloud-based software platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach.
Desirable
Experience working with HR systems or learning management systems.
Understanding of HR processes and employment law administration.
Experience managing social media platforms and email marketing tools.
