Decision Engineer

We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to join a fast-growing Decision Engineering organization focused on applying AI to complex operational challenges. This team functions as an internal force multiplier, building AI-powered tools, workflows, and decision systems that significantly improve productivity across critical business functions.

As a Decision Engineer, you will partner directly with stakeholders across infrastructure operations, data center delivery, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, accounting, legal, recruiting, and business operations to identify bottlenecks, automate manual processes, and build software solutions that drive meaningful business impact.

This is an opportunity to combine software engineering, AI, product thinking, and operational problem-solving in a highly autonomous environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications, automation tools, and decision systems.

Partner directly with operational and business teams to understand workflows and uncover opportunities for automation.

Own projects end-to-end, from problem identification and design through deployment and adoption.

Build custom integrations between LLMs and internal systems, APIs, databases, communication platforms, and business applications.

Develop agent-driven workflows and productivity tools that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

Translate expert knowledge and manual processes into scalable software solutions.

Create and maintain reusable AI infrastructure, tooling, and shared engineering frameworks.

Design data models and operational systems that connect information across multiple business functions.

Evaluate emerging AI technologies and implement new capabilities where appropriate.

Measure outcomes and continuously improve systems based on user feedback and business impact.

Is passionate about leveraging AI to transform how organizations operate., 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.

Strong programming experience in one or more of the following:

Python

Go

TypeScript

Experience building modern web applications and backend services.

Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs and AI-powered applications.

Familiarity with agent frameworks, workflow automation, and AI development tools.

Strong problem-solving abilities and product mindset.

Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with:

OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMs

MCP servers and tool integrations

AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar tools

Knowledge graphs and workflow orchestration

Internal tooling platforms

Operational software supporting infrastructure, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, legal, or recruiting functions
