Senior Solution Engineer

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer (m/f/d) for our Workload Automation ANOW! Suite who will support our sales initiatives in the enterprise sector and contribute to customer success with tailored automation solutions.

In this role, you will serve as the technical point of contact for enterprise customers across various industries and work closely with sales, product management, and development. You will analyze complex customer environments, identify automation opportunities, and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance solution concepts tailored to our customers’ business goals.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll work closely with sales executives to understand clients’ goals and challenges.
• Conducting product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical workshops to showcase the features of ANOW! Automate and ANOW! Observe.
• Analyzing and translating business and technical requirements into tailored solution concepts and implementation plans.
• Developing PoC use cases based on specific customer requirements.
• Participate in client meetings to identify technical and business requirements early on, prior to solution development.
• Support the sales process, particularly in preparing responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Working closely with Support, R&D, Product Management, and Sales, you ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Structured communication of customer feedback to Sales and Product teams to continuously improve requirements and solutions.
• Continuously expand your knowledge of current IT trends such as DevOps, DataOps, SOAP, observability, cloud technologies, and AI.
• Monitor market developments, competitors, and new technologies.

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field of study, or equivalent qualifications gained through relevant practical experience
• Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer, in technical presales, consulting, or technical sales of enterprise software
• Experience with APIs, REST integrations, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell, as well as in-depth knowledge of modern IT architectures, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, operating systems, and IT security
• Ideally, in-depth knowledge of Automic, Control M, or Airflow, as well as experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog
• Excellent German and English language skills, as well as the ability to present complex technical content in a way that is tailored to the target audience
• A strong analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills
