Client clarified he wants to use this position for Java Production Support / ProdOps role, not a pure infrastructure role since infra is already build. Search for Java, GitLab pipelines, production monitoring, RCA, and issue resolution experience

Requirements

  • Target candidates who started as Java developers and have moved into ProdOps, application support, SRE, or DevOps-oriented production support roles.
  • The candidate should be able to troubleshoot application issues - not only monitor infrastructure or route tickets to other teams.
  • GitLab pipeline experience should be hands-on, including supporting deployments and making pipeline changes where needed.
  • Look for clear examples of production incidents handled, root-cause analysis performed, and issues resolved end to end.
