  • Experience working with outdoor robotics and rovers.
  • Solid experience with Embedded Linux and Nvidia embedded systems development.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, Rust for robotics applications.
  • Proficiency in Typescript, React (JS and Native) for user interfaces.
  • Knowledge of AI and computer vision.
  • A proactive mindset with flexibility to contribute across various tasks, typical of a startup environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.

About the company

At Botronics, we are redefining the game of golf with robotics. Our flagship product, iXi, is the world’s first autonomous golf trolley, designed to offer golfers an effortless, hands-free experience on the course. We are a dynamic startup passionate about blending autonomy, smart design, and user experience to create innovative solutions in sports robotics.

We are now looking for a Robotics & Software Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of autonomous systems in golf.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and deploy autonomous navigation and control systems for mobile robots (like iXi) using ROS 2 and Nav2.
  • Integrate perception, localization, and path planning algorithms into our robotic platforms.
  • Work on embedded systems running Embedded Linux, interfacing sensors, actuators, and hardware drivers.
  • Test and integrate new sensors on custom hardware.
  • Implement new features end-to-end, from the UI applications to the robotics and cloud back-ends.
  • Collaborate across disciplines (hardware, software, product) to prototype and iterate rapidly in a startup environment.
  • Contribute to system testing and field trials on golf courses, with hands-on debugging and optimization.
  • Support the entire lifecycle of robotics software, from R&D to production.
