Job description

Seeking a Middleware Engineer with 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise middleware environments. This individual will be heavily focused on production support, platform maintenance, patching, deployments, and troubleshooting across WebSphere, Tomcat, and JBoss environments. The role supports both project work and day-to-day operational support within a large enterprise environment. Compensation $73.68.

Requirements

7+ years of Middleware Administration/Engineering experience

Strong hands-on experience with:

  • IBM WebSphere Liberty

  • Tomcat 11

  • JBoss 8Supported Linux environments

Experience with middleware installation, configuration, patching, and performance tuning

Supported production environments and handling incident resolution

Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk

DevOps tooling experience

Understanding of Java/J2EE application environments

Basic networking knowledge (HTTP/S, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, TLS) Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend production support when required
