Job description

We’re seeking Independent End Point Assessors (IEPAs) to join our End Point Assessment team to deliver the following standard:

Level 5 Operations Manager (OM)

This role could be a great fit if you have current or recent occupational experience in operations management. This experience may have been gained in roles such as Operations Manager, Business Operations Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Regional Manager, Department Manager, Head of Operations, Operational Excellence Manager, or similar positions.

As an IEPA, you’ll play an integral part in the success of apprentices by supporting them in taking the assessments for their apprenticeship and grading their assessments. This is therefore a great opportunity to use your professional skills and knowledge whilst developing others.

Whilst this is a flexible worker role, during the period of allocated work we require availability between the hours of 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday to be able to carry out reviews. Please make sure you can commit to this before applying.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Delivering EPA in line with the Operations Manager standard
  • Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
  • Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
  • Communicating with apprentices, ITP’s and employers on EPA and grading

Requirements

  • A recognised Assessor qualification
  • At least 5 years or recent relevant experience as an Operations Manager
  • Have current contacts within the management industry to maintain your own operational management hands on practical CPD
  • A commitment to ongoing CPD relevant to the standards being assessed
  • A full, clean driving licence and have flexibility to travel across your region for face-to-face assessment delivery
  • Excellent IT skills and be competent with using systems such as Teams, Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
