Product Owner

Insight Global is seeking a Product Owner to support internal web applications, third-party application modernization efforts, and enterprise software initiatives.

This role will partner closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and development teams to gather requirements, define functionality, create user stories, and ensure business needs are translated into successful software solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in Agile environments, has strong business analysis and Product Owner experience, and can work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Requirements

• Serve as Product Owner for internal application development initiatives.

• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts.

• Translate business needs into detailed user stories and functional requirements.

• Define acceptance criteria and maintain the product backlog.

• Prioritize work based on business value and stakeholder needs.

Agile Delivery

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and answer questions.

• Review completed functionality to ensure business requirements have been met.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.

• Communicate product updates and priorities.

• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workflow discussions.

• Help drive adoption and continuous improvement of applications.

Product & Application Support

• Monitor application performance and user feedback.

• Manage enhancement requests and defect prioritization.

• Support ongoing governance and product best practices.

• Help ensure solutions align with operational and business goals.

5+ years of Product Owner, Product Management experience.

• Experience supporting Agile software development teams.

• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.

• Experience supporting enterprise web applications.

• Product Owner experience supporting internal enterprise applications.

• Experience with:

? Azure DevOps

• Experience working alongside Product Managers.

• Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, and software development concepts.

• Experience supporting third-party application implementation or modernization efforts.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI-assisted productivity tools.
