D365 Finance Business AnalystLocation: London - 3 days per week onsiteContract: 2 monthsRate: £525-£550 per day, Outside IR35 The Opportunity A retail organisation is migrating from a legacy Microsoft Dynamics AX platform to Dynamics 365 Finance.The core requirements have already been established and an implementation partner is in place. They now need an experienced Business Analyst to work between the finance teams and the SI, ensuring the agreed requirements are understood, translated correctly and delivered effectively. The Role You will represent the business throughout the implementation, working closely with finance stakeholders, the Project Manager and the implementation partner.Although the project has moved beyond initial requirements gathering, you will need to validate processes, clarify detail, identify gaps and support the business through testing and implementation. partnerValidate existing requirements and ensure they are clearly understoodMap current and future-state finance processesTranslate business needs into clear functional requirements and user storiesIdentify gaps, risks and areas requiring further clarificationSupport solution design workshops and challenge proposed approaches where neededDocument processes, decisions, requirements and acceptance criteriaCoordinate and support UAT, including test scenarios, defect management and sign-offAssist with data migration, business readiness, training and go-live activitiesKeep stakeholders informed and ensure actions are followed through Skills and Experience Strong Business Analyst experience on Dynamics 365 Finance implementationsGood understanding of core finance processes and their configuration within D365Experience working client-side alongside a systems implementation partnerStrong process mapping, requirements validation and documentation skillsExperience supporting UAT, defect resolution and business sign-offConfident working with finance teams, technical specialists and senior stakeholdersHands-on, pragmatic and comfortable working within a fast-moving implementation Desirable Previous experience within retail or another multi-site organisationExperience migrating from Microsoft Dynamics AX to D365Knowledge of data migration, reporting, integrations or change readinessExperience supporting a D365 Finance implementation through to go-live
