Data Operations Manager

As a Data Operations Manager, you will sit at the intersection of research technology, survey operations, data processing, workflow automation, and programme delivery.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Managing the operational delivery of quantitative research programmes, including multi-market and global studies
• Delivering hands-on survey scripting, data processing, reporting operations, and workflow automation
• Designing, maintaining, and improving automation workflows, operational tooling, and API-driven processes
• Coordinating resources and delivery priorities across multiple concurrent programmes
• Identifying delivery risks, managing dependencies, and implementing robust quality assurance processes
• Acting as an escalation point for complex technical and operational delivery challenges
• Supporting governance, documentation, and process improvement initiatives
• Partnering with research, operations, technology, and client stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery
• Translating technical concepts into clear business impacts for senior stakeholders

The successful Data Operations Manager will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong commercial experience within market research, research operations, data processing, or related environments
• Experience delivering large-scale quantitative research programmes across multiple markets
• Hands-on survey scripting experience using platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Forsta, Dimensions, or similar
• Experience managing quantitative data workflows, reporting outputs, dashboards, and analysis tools such as SPSS, Q, DisplayR, or equivalent
• Strong data cleaning, transformation, and data management skills
• Experience building automation workflows, operational tooling, or data pipelines
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript, APIs, or workflow automation platforms would be highly advantageous
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project prioritisation skills
• Ability to identify risks early and drive effective operational solutions
