Job description
A well-established organisation is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join its team based in central Chelmsford. You’ll play a key role in supporting users, maintaining day-to-day IT operations, and ensuring business systems and technology services run smoothly across the organisation., * Provide first-line support for business systems, databases and core applications.
- Act as the onsite point of contact for IT issues, working alongside an outsourced IT support provider.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and application issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation where required.
- Deliver user training, IT inductions and practical guidance to staff on systems and technology.
- Support the setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of end-user devices, peripherals and IT equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support issues and system updates.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an IT support or service desk environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across software, systems and end-user technology.
- Experience supporting business applications, databases or CRM systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Well organised, customer-focused and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional travel between sites., * Active Directory (Line)
