Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across a diverse portfolio of clients. This role focuses on Windows Server, virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, backup and disaster recovery, and SQL Server infrastructure in highly available and compliance-driven environments., n \n

• Design, deploy, and support enterprise Windows Server environments across physical and virtual infrastructure. \n

• Implement and administer virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Proxmox. \n

• Design and support enterprise storage solutions including NetApp, Pure Storage, Nutanix, and VMware vSAN. \n

• Build and maintain hybrid cloud environments utilizing Microsoft Azure, Azure Government, and AWS. \n

• Implement and manage Veeam Backup & Replication solutions, disaster recovery planning, and recovery testing. \n

• Configure and maintain Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure, including installations, upgrades, patching, high availability, and backup strategies. \n

• Support infrastructure hosting ERP and line-of-business applications, including Epicor, Infor SyteLine (CSI), Sage, and other enterprise applications. \n

• Support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops infrastructure, including virtualization hosts, storage, machine catalogs, and NetScaler integrations. \n

• Apply infrastructure hardening and security best practices aligned with NIST 800-171, CMMC Level 2, and SOC 2 requirements. \n

• Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and audit-ready infrastructure documentation. \n

• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver enterprise infrastructure projects while adhering to established architecture standards. \n

• 6+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience. \n

• Strong experience with Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure. \n

• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and/or Proxmox. \n

• Experience implementing enterprise storage technologies including SAN, HCI, and virtualization storage. \n

• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. \n

• Strong experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and disaster recovery solutions. \n

• Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure, including high availability and disaster recovery. \n

• Familiarity with infrastructure supporting ERP systems such as Epicor, Infor SyteLine (CSI), Sage, or similar enterprise applications. \n

• Experience supporting Citrix infrastructure is a plus. \n

• Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST 800-171, CMMC Level 2, and SOC 2. \n

• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. \n

• Ability to travel up to 25%. \n
