Systems Engineer 3 Organization

• Applies an interdisciplinary approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions for the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program.
• Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements.
• Integrates technical parameters and assures compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
• Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and system architecture.
• Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, and product assurance.
• Develops planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes and tools.
• Manages risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
• Resolves cross-functional technical issues across system integration.
• Provides organization to issues and develops plans for problem resolution.
• Applies generalist knowledge of aircraft systems including bleed air, hydraulic power, electrical power, and engine controls.

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of experience.
• Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with systems engineering processes and planning.
• Generalist knowledge of aircraft systems and integration.
• Experience developing plans and providing organization to technical issues.
• Ability to communicate plans and solutions to cross-functional teams.
• Experience with system of systems and system solution development.
• Experience with requirements management processes and tools., Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
