Job description

We are seeking a Technical HR Systems Analyst to support and enhance Workforce Management, Time & Attendance, and Production Scheduling systems and processes.

This role will focus on system configuration, production support, troubleshooting, integrations, process and data analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Time & Attendance and Workforce Scheduling applications, with experience in platforms such as Indeavor, Infor WFM, Shiftboard, Infor APS, or similar workforce management solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, contractors, and third-party vendors to identify business needs, configure solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver technology improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support global HR technology processes with a primary focus on workforce scheduling and plant shift scheduling capabilities.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and production support for HR systems.
  • Configure and support Time & Attendance and Workforce Scheduling applications.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and identify solutions involving configuration, integrations, data, and system processes.
  • Analyze business processes, system functionality, data, and technical requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand pain points and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional requirements, technical specifications, configuration requirements, and implementation plans.
  • Analyze integration requirements between workforce scheduling, timekeeping, HR, and other enterprise systems.
  • Work with technical teams, contractors, and third-party vendors to implement system enhancements and resolve issues.
  • Participate in projects through discovery, planning, configuration, implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Create test scripts, execute testing, document defects, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation.
  • Support production stabilization and ongoing system sustainability.
  • Communicate system and process changes to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Identify system constraints, process impacts, data considerations, and integration dependencies.
  • Provide recommendations for improving HR technology solutions and leveraging existing system functionality.
  • Manage multiple priorities and work effectively in an environment with ambiguity and changing requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting or delivering complex IT solutions; 5+ years preferred.
  • Hands-on experience supporting or configuring Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, or Scheduling applications.
  • Understanding of integrations between Time & Attendance, Workforce Scheduling, HR, and related enterprise systems.
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional or technical specifications.
  • Experience analyzing, designing, configuring, and supporting systems, data, processes, and technology solutions.
  • Experience with production support, troubleshooting, system stabilization, and ongoing application support.
  • Experience with system testing, test scripts, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, contractors, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in ambiguous situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Infor WFM experience.
  • Indeavor experience.
  • Experience with Shiftboard, Infor APS, or similar workforce scheduling platforms.
  • Experience supporting plant or manufacturing workforce scheduling.
  • Experience with Time & Attendance integrations.
  • Experience with HR systems and enterprise HR technology.
  • Reporting and analytics experience.
  • Experience working with third-party application vendors and implementation partners.
