Active Directory Engineer

• Provide Tier 2 support for Active Directory-related incidents and service requests
• Troubleshoot user account issues, authentication problems, and group membership requests
• Perform user provisioning, deprovisioning, and account maintenance activities
• Support Group Policy administration and troubleshooting efforts
• Assist with Active Directory health checks and routine maintenance tasks
• Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration in a hybrid environment
• Work with security teams to ensure proper access management and compliance requirements are met
• Escalate complex infrastructure issues to senior engineers when necessary
• Document solutions, procedures, and recurring issues for the support team
• Participate in operational support initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. This role is roughly 55hr

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Active Directory administration/support experience
• Experience with:

o User and Group Management

o Password Resets and Account Provisioning

o Group Policy troubleshooting

o Active Directory troubleshooting and ticket resolution

• Basic experience with DNS and Domain Controllers
• Experience supporting users in a large enterprise environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills - Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) experience
• PowerShell experience for basic administration tasks
• Intune support experience
• Experience with Quest Active Directory tools
• ITIL or ServiceNow experience
