Senior Software Engineer, Bet Engine

This role will focus on designing and scaling core backend services that power high-traffic transactional experiences in a fast-moving technology environment. You will partner closely with product, leadership, and engineering stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges, improve platform reliability, and deliver high-quality features from concept through implementation. The position also includes mentoring teammates, strengthening production performance, and helping shape technical decisions that support long-term scalability., * Design and optimize GraphQL APIs and gRPC services for sportsbook and casino systems

• Own and resolve complex technical issues, drafting proposals for leadership
• Deliver features in an agile/scrum environment, from design to implementation
• Identify production bottlenecks and drive platform scalability improvements
• Implement monitoring and alerting strategies using Datadog
• Mentor team members through code reviews and technical guidance
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance product quality and operational efficiency

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong foundation in computer science with knowledge of data structures and distributed systems
• Experience optimizing production systems and identifying performance issues
• Familiarity with GraphQL schema design and API development
• Proficient in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Strong communication skills with experience documenting technical specifications
