Head of Information Technology

Our client, a UK-based group, is seeking an experienced Head of IT and Digital Services to lead end-to-end IT operations, technology strategy, and digital transformation across the organisation and its subsidiaries.This is a strategic and operational leadership role, responsible for delivering secure, reliable IT services while driving technology modernisation across infrastructure, business applications, cybersecurity, and ways of working.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the group-wide IT and digital services strategy, governance, and technology roadmapLead IT service delivery across service desk, field support, infrastructure, and business systemsDrive the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing development of Microsoft Dynamics 365Own and enhance the organisation’s management systemStrengthen cybersecurity, data protection, compliance, and risk managementIdentify and embed AI technologies, including AI agents, safely and pragmatically to improve business outcomesManage IT budgets, suppliers

contracts, and technology investments to deliver value for moneyLead, develop, and inspire a multi-disciplinary IT teamEnsure technology services continue to evolve in line with business objectives and organisational growthWhat We’re Looking ForSenior leadership experience with responsibility for IT and digital services across multi-site organisationsStrong service delivery expertise and ITIL-aligned operational managementProven cybersecurity leadership within regulated or sensitive environmentsSuccessful delivery of major IT systems, platforms, and transformation programmesExperience managing budgets, third-party suppliers, contracts, and technical teamsStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud technologies, and modern workplace securityExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar enterprise business systemsExperience within healthcare or another regulated environment is desirableA strategic, commercially minded approach combined with the ability to remain hands-on when requiredThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of IT, Head of Digital, or Head of Digital Services to shape and lead technology services at group level, balancing operational excellence with forward-thinking digital transformation.Competitive salary and hybrid working offered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
