Job description

We will rely on you to take ownership of technical issues and support network improvement initiatives.
You will help maintain a secure, highly available enterprise environment supporting thousands of users and critical operational services.
You will troubleshoot complex incidents and resolve network issues.
You will support project delivery and implement network changes.
You will contribute to the ongoing development of network services.
You will be responsible for enterprise firewall administration and security policy management.
You will work with wireless networking and access control platforms.
You will manage routing, switching and network performance optimisation.
You will support DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management.
You will carry out network monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
You will support service improvements, upgrades and project delivery.
You will support network security and resilience initiatives.
You will collaborate with infrastructure, security and project teams to ensure network services continue to evolve alongside business requirements.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong background supporting enterprise-scale environments and a proven track record working across complex multi-site networks.
Experience with Fortinet Firewalls is highly desirable.
Experience with Extreme XIQ Wireless is highly desirable.
Experience with ClearPass or equivalent NAC solutions is highly desirable.
Experience with Infoblox IPAM is highly desirable.
Experience across LAN/WAN networking is highly desirable.
Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching is highly desirable.
Experience with DNS and DHCP is highly desirable.
Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 is highly desirable.
Experience with network security and access control is highly desirable.
Strong troubleshooting ability is essential.
Clear communication skills are essential.
A methodical approach to problem solving is essential.
We are looking for candidates who can work within complex environments, manage multiple priorities and provide technical leadership when required.
Experience in large corporate, public sector, critical infrastructure, engineering or highly regulated environments is likely to be beneficial.
