Job description

We are looking for a seasoned Network Engineer with 11+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong core networking expertise, with working exposure to basic QA/testing concepts as a plus (not a primary requirement)., * Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, routing, and switching infrastructure across enterprise environments

Manage and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
Implement and monitor network security protocols, VPNs, and firewall policies
Plan and execute network capacity upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery strategies
Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG, or similar
Configure and manage cloud networking components (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, or similar)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (infra, security, application) to resolve connectivity and performance issues
Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and SOPs
Support basic validation/testing of network changes before production rollout (light QA involvement - not a dedicated testing role)
Provide L3 support and mentor junior network engineers

Requirements

11+ years of experience in network engineering/administration
Strong expertise in routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet devices
Solid understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Basic exposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
Working knowledge of scripting (Python/Bash) for automation is a plus
Basic understanding of QA/testing concepts (e.g., validating network changes, UAT support) - not deep QA expertise required
Excellent communication and documentation skills
