Product Owner

REPAY is a fast-paced, FinTech company experiencing significant growth and expansion. We’re seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Owner to help drive the product roadmap, for external customers of our Business Payments platform. This role owns the product experience for the people external to REPAY who interact with our platform every day: the customers initiating payments, the vendors receiving them, and the partners integrating with us. This includes the ERP (Sage, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, Yardi, and similar systems) and other platforms with REPAY services embedded, that connect our customers’ existing systems to Business Payments. You’ll translate their needs into product decisions that make business payments simpler, faster, and more reliable. This role is an opportunity to be an integral part of a team and make a tremendous impact on daily work of users and their businesses., * Identify market opportunities and align the product vision and strategy by maintaining a rolling four quarter product roadmap view

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Sales, Technology, Operations, as well as customers, their vendors and partners to drive product innovation and roadmap decisions
• Own the roadmap for REPAY’s ERP and embedded integrations, ensuring a consistent integration experience across partner systems and clear communication of changes to integration partners, the business and customers.
• Execute on delivery of product initiatives by fostering close coordination with Engineering and QA teams
• Actively engage with cross-functional teams to execute on integrated roadmap capabilities and Go-to-Market (GTM) efforts
• Improve the external customer experience to drive product usability, task efficiency and adoption.
• Maintain an expert level of product and market knowledge for the Business Payments vertical
• Manage the Product backlog to rapidly deliver value to customers.
• Collaborate with Technology to prioritize ongoing technology and security maintenance activities.

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in business payments and financial technology with progressive responsibility.
• Hands-on experience with ERP or platform integrations (e.g., Sage, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, Yardi, NetSuite) - owning, configuring, or building product requirements for API- or file-based third-party integrations.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools within product management workflows including competitive research, requirements drafting, user story generation, PRD creation, POC construction and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to build requirements based on stakeholder input and translate them into well-structured user stories for engineering teams.
• Experience with Agile software development methodology and direct engagement with technical engineering teams.
• Proven ability to define, instrument, and monitor user-facing metrics (adoption, activation, task completion, support volume) to surface friction points and prioritize product improvements

• Well-organized and thorough; able to structure, analyze, and answer technical and business questions while balancing multiple competing priorities. Highly adaptable with a bias toward action, collaboration, and continuous improvement including staying current on how AI is reshaping FinTech Product Management. *, * Payments Professional Certification (e.g., AAP, CPP).

• Certified Product Owner or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation.
• Strong proficiency with JIRA, including experience with AI-enhanced project management features or integrations.
• Background in UX research methods: interviews, usability testing, journey mapping
• Exposure to Agentic Commerce, AI/ML-powered experiences, AI powered search are a big plus.
• Experience modernizing or consolidating legacy point-to-point integrations into a shared integration/services layer.
