Product Owner, Reservations

Now is an exciting time to be part of Delta’s Reservations and Care Experience Design & Technology team as we redefine customer and employee experiences by setting new technology standards. This role will help bring AI-enabled and automation capabilities to life in our Customer Engagement Centers. Delta’s Reservations Experience Design & Technology team is seeking a hands-on Product Owner to lead day-to-day product delivery, translate business needs into build-ready requirements, and partner closely with Information Technology squads to deliver measurable improvements.

• Own and prioritize the sprint backlog for AI and automation products, balancing customer, employee, business, and technical needs.
• Translate product goals, business needs, and user feedback into clear features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios that development teams can execute.
• Take direct ownership of story writing and refinement, ensuring requirements clearly describe the expected functionality, user value, dependencies, and definition of done.
• Lead and actively participate in agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews and demos, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, stakeholders, designers, analysts, and Information Technology teams to understand business problems, refine requirements, validate proposed solutions, and remove ambiguity.
• Monitor product performance, adoption, and quality data, identify improvement opportunities, and use evidence to support backlog prioritization and continuous product improvement.
• Develop tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment and support employee safety and wellbeing.

• Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
• Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
• Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar delivery-focused role within a dynamic agile environment.
• Demonstrated experience writing and refining features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios for digital products.
• Strong working knowledge of agile practices and principles, including backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ability to convert vague or evolving business needs into clear, build-ready requirements and make timely delivery decisions.
• Ability to work directly with development teams, provide rapid feedback, resolve requirement questions, and accept completed work against defined criteria.
• Analytical and practical problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify issues and support prioritization decisions., * Ability to connect product vision to measurable outcomes and recommend strategic priorities using customer insights, operational data, feasibility, and value.
• Experience defining product OKRs, KPIs, value-realization measures, or an end-to-end metrics strategy.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, automation, conversational AI, or other emerging digital capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools, including the ability to interpret AI or automation process and performance data.
• Experience with digital.ai Agility/VersionOne, Aha!, or Jira.
• Experience in programming or software development.
