Job description
Leading financial exchange is looking for a hands-on Network Operations Engineer to support a low-latency trading network across on-premise and cloud environments. Technology

- Multicast / PIM / PTP
- Wireshark / TCPdump / Syslog
- SolarWinds / Network Monitoring

The Role
- Monitor and support live network, security and trading infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex network issues using logs, monitoring and packet analysis
- Manage client connectivity, onboarding and access
- Support leased lines, circuits and telecoms providers
- Implement network/security changes and contribute to infrastructure projects
- Perform incident investigation and root-cause analysis
Requirements
4+ years’ Network Engineering / Network Security experience, ideally within financial services or another high-performance environment.
CCNP or equivalent experience preferred.
Early-start operational rota 06:30-18:30, with occasional weekend/Bank Holiday cover and Data Centre visits.
