DevOps Engineer

• Build, improve, and maintain automated deployment, configuration, and upgrade processes across infrastructure and applications.
• Help ensure platform security, scalability, and high availability, supporting a zero-downtime approach wherever possible.
• Monitor and manage Kubernetes environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Support infrastructure and application upgrades through planning, testing, and deployment activities.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Work closely with development and engineering teams to optimise platform performance and reliability.
• Champion DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement across the technology estate.

• Commercial experience in a DevOps, Platform, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and Bash scripting.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or OpenStack.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience designing, maintaining, and testing backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps methodologies, and automation practices.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of ArgoCD would be advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
