Job description

The ERP Administrator / Business Systems Analyst will be the primary internal owner and subject matter expert for the organization’s ERP system, with an initial focus on implementing and administering Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI / SyteLine). The role combines ERP administration, manufacturing process knowledge, reporting, data governance, and user support to ensure the system accurately reflects business operations and provides reliable information for decision-making.

Essential Functions

ERP Implementation & Administration

  • Serve as a key internal resource during the Infor CloudSuite Industrial implementation.

  • Partner with implementation consultants, IT, process owners, and subject matter experts to configure, validate, and support the ERP environment.

  • Administer users, roles, permissions, workflows, system parameters, application settings, upgrades, patches, testing, and release management.

  • Maintain test and production environments and support structured change-control practices.

  • Act as the primary escalation point for ERP issues, coordinating with Infor or support partners as needed.

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Systems

  • Support ERP functionality for manufacturing, BOMs, routings, work centers, capacity planning, scheduling, MRP, purchasing, inventory, order management, engineering change, quality, costing, and financial transactions.

  • Work with functional leaders to ensure system configuration reflects approved business processes.

  • Troubleshoot planning, scheduling, production, inventory, costing, and transaction issues.

  • Maintain key planning parameters, including lead times, order policies, safety stock, calendars, resource capacity, and related settings.

Master Data & Governance

  • Establish and maintain ERP master-data standards and governance practices.

  • Monitor the integrity of items, BOMs, routings, resources, vendors, customers, warehouses, units of measure, planning parameters, and related records.

  • Identify systemic data-quality issues and coordinate root-cause corrective actions with process owners.

  • Support data conversion, cleansing, validation, approvals, modifications, and retirement of ERP records.

Reporting, Analytics & Data

  • Develop and maintain reports, queries, dashboards, and analytical tools for Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and leadership.

  • Use SQL and reporting tools to investigate system behavior, validate transactions, and provide actionable business information.

  • Help users understand ERP data structures and establish reliable sources of truth for reporting.

  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and administrative processes.

Integrations & Business Systems

  • Support interfaces between ERP and related systems such as MES, CAD/PDM, EDI, barcode/data collection, warehouse, quality, financial, and BI platforms.

  • Work with IT, vendors, and implementation partners to troubleshoot integration issues.

  • Participate in evaluating and implementing new modules, integrations, functionality, and automation opportunities.

User Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide ERP support, documentation, procedures, training materials, and system standards across the organization.

  • Distinguish between system defects, configuration issues, master-data problems, training needs, and process gaps.

  • Train users and process owners on ERP functionality and best practices.

  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of enhancements and continuous-improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  1. 3+ years supporting, administering, implementing, or heavily using a manufacturing ERP system.
  2. Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, planning, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, MRP, work orders, BOMs, routings, and costing.
  3. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to trace transactions and processes across ERP functions.
  4. Experience with relational databases, ERP data structures, reporting/query tools, SQL or comparable data-querying skills.
  5. Advanced Excel and general data-analysis skills.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical resources and business users.

  2. Experience with CSI planning, scheduling, MRP, manufacturing, inventory, warehouse, and APS functionality.
  3. Experience with SQL Server, ERP database structures, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
  4. Experience with MES, EDI, barcode/data collection, CAD/PDM, or other manufacturing-system integrations.
